The Giver Research Paper

 

This past term, I took a class called Forbidden Books. In this class we discussed why books are banned, specifically from the education system, and whether we feel the banning is justified. The book that I read is called The Giver by Lois Lowry. This book was banned because of its discussion of euthanasia, infanticide, and death. I wrote a research paper discussing my thoughts on the book and whether or not I think the banning of it was justified. Enjoy!
