How Does Coal Affect Us Today?

This term I have been taking a class called fuel. In this class we talk all about different energy sources and renewable energy versus non renewable energy and how they affect society and the environment. Fossil fuels were the main topic of this unit. Fossil fuels are the preferred energy source in our world today because they can be cheaper than other options, but this creates conflict because they are harmful to the environment. For this assignment I chose a fossil fuel and studied it. I chose the fossil fuel coal or more specifically anthracite which is a type of coal. There are a couple different kinds of coal so I chose to focus on one. I researched the pros and cons of coal and the different consumption rates between The United States and Bangladesh.
